Because of the diversity of climates, territory and cultures, there are many interesting things you can do in Colombia.

Bogota, the capital, is a very cosmopolitan city. You can go to the theater, watch movies, go to amazing restaurants, or visit some of the museums (there are more than 60). You can also visit the city center, where you will find colonial architecture and learn about Colombian history. And at night you can have lots of fun in the nightclubs.
This is a vibrant city, full of life with almost everything to do.

In the Caribbean coasts there are lovely beaches. In Sta. Marta you can discover the Kogui Culture in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, and explore the wildlife that The Tayrona National Park holds. In the Pacific you can experience afro-Colombian hospitality, the laid back way of life, and enjoy the culture and music.

In the interior you can travel around the “Eje Cafetero”, visit the colonial villages and even stay in one of the typical coffee farms, where you could learn about the coffee development process and its crucial roll in Colombia’s history and economy. If you are a nature lover, you can partake on some of Colombia’s Eco- tourism, including visits to some of the 51 natural parks and preserved areas in the country.

Colombia holds some historical world heritage sites and a few of the most amazing places in South America, such as Cartagena, a fortified city and former slavery port, known for its legendary history and beauty. Other cities like, Villa de Leyva, Popayan, Mompos, Tierradentro (just to name a few) can offer cultural history and beautiful scenarios.
